This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ice-covered peak of elevation 800 m in the SE part of Basarbovo Ridge in Stribog Mountains on Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago. Situated 3.23 km SE of Mediolana Peak, 4.54 km SW of Einthoven Hill, and 2.7 km WNW of Bov Point formed by an offshoot of the peak. Steep and partly ice-free S slopes. Surmounts Malpighi Glacier to the SW and Svetovrachene Glacier to the NE. British mapping in 1980 and 2008. Named after the settlement of Podem in Northern Bulgaria.
