This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The second high peak in the south range of Harding Mountain and is located on the east of the south range of Harding Mountain. To the southwest of the peak is the valley of Chongzhuo Shangu. It was named based on the shape of the mountain while mapping during the 16th CHINARE in 2000.
