This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A peak at the southernmost of the Zakharoff Ridge lies at the southernmost of the several mountains of Zakharoff Ridge. A large area of ice slope on its west, you can go straightly to the hilltop by driving a snowmobile. Its east side is sheer and impossible to climb. It was named when surveying and mapping during the 16th CHINARE in 2000.
