Origin

This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

It's a small lake that is located in the northeast corner of the Stornes Peninsula and formed by frozen and eroded rock. It has a small area and deep waters. The towering Xianju Ling on the southeast has blocked the southeast wind like a screen. It was named when aerial photos surveying and mapping in 1993.
