This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A two-peak mountain is located in the northwest part of Niutou Bandao. The north slope is very abrupt and hard to climb while the south slope is gentle. The highest peak is 140 meters above sea level.It was named when aerial photos surveying and mapping in 1993.
