This name originates from China. It is part of the China Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
They are two adjacent islands in the east sea area of the anchorage.The west island is strip and there are sheer cliffs around it.The Dong Dao is a relatively large rocky island in the Zhongshan Station anchorage.The coast around it is precipitous,so it is very dangerous to climb.It was named when surveying and mapping in 1999.
