Narrative

The ice-covered point on the NE side of the entrance to Zapalnya Cove on the SE coast of Smith Island in the South Shetland Islands. Situated 10.34 km SW of Cape Smith, 6.63 km NE of Sredets Point and 4 km SE of Mount Pisgah. Bulgarian mapping in 2009. Named after the settlement of Medovene in Northeastern Bulgaria.
