This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

The 950 m wide cove on Boyd Strait indenting for 500 m the SE coast of Smith Island in the South Shetland Islands. Entered NE of Velikan Point and SW of Razdel Point. Situated 12 km SW of Cape Smith. Its head is fed by Ovech Glacier. Bulgarian mapping in 2009. Named after Todor Nikolov for his support for the First Bulgarian Antarctic Expedition.
