This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ice-covered peak rising to 900 m in the W foothills of Hemimont Plateau, Loubet Coast in Graham Land. Situated 8.75 km SSE of Erovete Peak, 11 km N of Smilyan Bastion and 14.8 km ENE of Quervain Peak. Steep and partly ice-free S slopes. Surmounts Klebelsberg Glacier to the S, and Finsterwalder Glacier to the N and NW. British mapping in 1978. Named after the ancient Thracian settlement of Armula in Western Bulgaria.
