This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ice-covered mountain rising to 1700 m in Lassus Mountains, northern Alexander Island. Situated 10.24 km S by E of Mount Wilbye, 8.7 km SW of Mount Kliment Ohridski in Sofia University Mountains, 8.77 km W of Rachenitsa Nunatak, 2.7 km N by W of Moriseni Peak and 9.5 km E by N of Faulkner Nunatak. Surmounts Nichols Snowfield to the E and Narechen Glacier to the W. British mapping in 1971.
Named after the town and region of Devol in medieval Southwestern Bulgaria.
