This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The partly ice-covered rocky ridge extending 3.9 km in NNE-SSW direction and 1.8 km wide, rising to 1100 m in Bartók Glacier on the W side of Elgar Uplands in northern Alexander Island. Situated 6.27 km NW of Mount Pinafore and 5.62 km NE of Appalachia Nunataks. British mapping in 1971.
Named after the town of Lyubimets in Southern Bulgaria.
