This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The mostly ice-covered hill rising to 1000 m at the W extremity of Care Heights in Rouen Mountains, northern Alexander Island. Situated 6.9 km SW of Mount Sanderson, 19.3 km WSW of Mount Cupola, 6.23 km N of Serpent Nunatak, and 10.95 km E of the central height of Landers Peaks in Sofia University Mountains. Surmounts Nichols Snowfield to the W. Visited on 28 January 1988 by the geological team of Christo Pimpirev and Borislav Kamenov (First Bulgarian Antarctic Expedition), and Philip Nell and Peter Marquis (British Antarctic Survey). British mapping in 1971.
Named after the settlement of Lesnovo in Western Bulgaria.
