This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The mostly ice-covered peak rising to 1500 m in eastern Havre Mountains, northern Alexander Island. Situated 5.7 km E of Mount Pontida, 7.62 km SSE of Mount Newman and 21 km NE of Mount Holt. Steep and partly ice-free SW slopes. Surmounts Russian Gap to the NE and Foreman Glacier to the S. Vicinity visited on 8 January 1988 by the geological team of Christo Pimpirev and Borislav Kamenov (First Bulgarian Antarctic Expedition), and Philip Nell and Peter Marquis (British Antarctic Survey). British mapping in 1971.
Named after the Bulgarian opera singer Gena Dimitrova (1941-2005).
