This name originates from Bulgaria. It is part of the Bulgaria Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
The ice-covered peak rising to 1250 m on the W side of Elgar Uplands in northern Alexander Island. Situated 9.26 km NNW of Mount Pinafore, 8.92 km NE of Appalachia Nunataks and 19.1 km SE of Shaw Nunatak. Surmounts Delius Glacier to the N and Bart+¦k Glacier to the SSW. British mapping in 1971.
Named after Mount Kozhuh, an extinct volcano in Southwestern Bulgaria.
