A small lake at elevation, below Terminus Mountain in Porter Hills, in the McMurdo Dry Valleys.
Named by VUWAE 4 1960-61 (Victoria University of Wellington Antarctic Expedition), probably because it is hidden from view. First named on 'Geological Map of the Koettliz-Blue Glacier Region' 1963.
