This name originates from Australia. It is part of the Australian Antarctic Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
Small peak on the Mitchell Peninsula south of Casey station.
Named for Heather Adamson (1934-2010). Adamson travelled with the Australian National Antarctic Research Expedition (ANARE) as a biologist undertaking research: Casey (1986-87), Casey (1987-88), and Casey-Davis-Mawson ice edge (1988-89). Adamson's research deepened understanding of Antarctic plant physiology in mosses and lichens.
