Narrative

A pyramid-shaped peak at the W entrance to Steinskaret and at the NW extremity of Sœtherrindane, Nupsskarvet, Holtedahlfjella, Kurzegebirge, Orvinfjella, Neuschwabenland, Dronning Maud Land. Very likely a first ascent on 2009-NOV-17 during a privately organized expedition, motivated by mountain climbing, nature studies and journalistic interests, called 1st Austrian Queen Maud Land Expedition 2009.

Named For

A descriptive name because of the advanced position of the mountain and the red colour of the rocks.
