A prominent mountain, c.2050m, rising on the west side of Campbell Glacier, just north of the mouth of Bates Glacier, in Deep Freeze Range, Victoria Land.

Named For

Mapped by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy (USN) air photos, 1955-63. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) after William B. Emison, biologist at McMurdo Station, 1964-65 and 1965-66 seasons.
