A smooth glacier that flows north from Bowers Mountains and enters the east part of Rennick Bay, west of Stuhlinger Ice Piedmont.

Named For

Mapped by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1960-65. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Theodore P. Gannutz, biologist at Hallett Station in the 1966-67 season; station scientific leader at Palmer Station in 1968.
