A somewhat subdued peak that rises to over 600m 11.8km south of Cape Kinsey, in central Goodman Hills in the Wilson Hills.

Named For

Mapped by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1960-63. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for American aviation figure Max Conrad, who became the first person to fly an aircraft solo to the South Pole in January 1970.
