Point 3 km SW of Davey Point at the eastern edge of Usher Glacier, King George Island.
Named after K.R. Gooden, who wintered at Admiralty Bay 1951 as Base Leader and Field Guide and whose work contributed to the topographic survey programme for King George Island. Previously as Field Guide and surveyor at Port Lockroy (winter 1950).
