Narrative

Island about 50 m long between Cuverville Island and Rongé Island, Danco Coast. This area was used as an anchorage by whalers in the early twentieth century and the island has anchorage chains and a water-boat.

Named For

Jolle is the Norwegian name for a waterboat, following the theme of names from the whaling era in this area.
