Bay on the east side of Adelaide Island.
Named for Mikhail Grosswald (1921-2007) Professor at the Institute of Geography (Russian Academy of Sciences) and one of the founders of glaciology in Russia. Also an honorary academician of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.
