Narrative

A glacier about 28km long, flowing northward along the western side of Mount Aldrich and then northwest, coalescing with other glaciers to flow into Hatherton Glacier to the southwest of Junction Spur. Feature shown on: NZ AntTopo50-MN05

Named For

Mapped from air photographs taken by the US Navy. Named by United States Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) after Robert A. Ragotzkie, project director for U.S. Antarctic Research Program (USARP) studies of lakes in the ice-free valleys, who made personal studies in Victoria Land during the 1962-63 season.
