A seasonally active meltwater stream flowing for approximately 8km southeast from Victoria Upper Lake to Lake Vida, in the western part of Victoria Valley, McMurdo Dry Valleys, Antarctica. Feature shown on: AntTopo50-ME08
Named for Dr Alison Murray a molecular microbial ecologist at the Desert Research Institute in Reno, Nevada, USA. She has conducted research at numerous sites in Antarctica and served as co-lead on two different projects to study Lake Vida in Victoria Valley. She has served as an instructor at McMurdo Station and participated in SCAR committees as well as published numerous papers reflecting her research in Antarctica.
