Archipiélago Entre Ríos. Costa occidental de la península Antártica. Constituyen un grupo de 4 islotes mayores y otros menores frecuentemente cubiertos de hielo y con rocas en sus alrededores que se disponen hacia el N del pasaje Cristal. La isla más larga tiene 550 pies de altura con prominencias rocosas expuestas en su lado NW y NE.

Named For

Bautizados en honor de John Desmond Bernal nacido en 1901 físico británico autor conjuntamente con Sir Ralph Fowler de una clásica publicación sobre la estructura del hielo en la cual sugiere la localización de átomos de hidrógeno en 1933; APC (60) 38.
