This name originates from Australia. It is part of the Australian Antarctic Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A colony of emperor penguins located on the fast ice on the western side of the Dalton Iceberg Tongue, Sabrina Coast, Wilkes Land. It is about 60 km north of the coast, and can be split into several sub-colonies that are up to 5 km apart. It was discovered by BAS in a satellite image taken in 2014. Note: emperor penguin colonies may not remain in one fixed location.
