Narrative

A striking, flat-topped mountain, 3185 m high, west of the Ross Ice Shelf, about 57 km south of Mount Field. Discovered by the British National Antarctic Expedition (1901-04) under Scott. Named after Sir Albert Markham, a member of the Ship Committee of the Expedition.
