Narrative

A small, domed, rock outcrop, about 51 km NNE of Mount Dummett in the Southern Prince Charles Mountains. Plotted from air photographs taken from an ANARE aircraft in 1956. First visited by an ANARE party led by R.A. Ruker in 1960. Named after D.K. Machin, radio officer at Mawson 1960.
