A low conical peak, about 30 m above the ice on the eastern side of the Amery Ice Shelf, about 22 km north-east of Pickering Nunatak.There is an area of low-lying moraine on the western side of the peak. Photographed by ANARE aircraft in 1957. Visited by a geological party from the Soviet Antarctic Expedition in January, 1966. Named after J. Haigh, geophysicist at Mawson in 1965, who accompanied the Soviet party.
