Narrative

A small nunatak, lying approximately in the centre of Hordern Gap in the David Range between Mt. Coates and Mt. Hordern. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photographs taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition (1936-37) and called Metoppen (The Middle Peak). Renamed because of its location in Hordern Gap.
