Feature type: Bluff
This name originates from Australia. It is part of the Australian Antarctic Gazetteer.
A bluff on the north east coast of the Laurens Peninsula, Heard Island.
Drygalski used the name Kap Vanhöffen after Professor E. Vanhöffen, zoologist of Gauss and one of the landing party, 3 February 1902. Since there is no well-marked cape in the position marked, the name has been transferred to the bluff. August 2024, the named was corrected from Vanhøffen to Vanhöffen.
