Narrative

A small group of irregular somewhat jagged protruding rocks sticking up through the plateau ice about 27 km south-east of Mawson and 14 km south-east of Mt. Henderson in Mac.Robertson Land. Discovered by an ANARE party led by Robert Dovers on 4 December, 1954, and named after John Russell, engineer at Mawson in 1954.
