Narrative

A small nunatak about 9 km south-east of Dallice Peak in the Central Masson Range. Photographed from an ANARE aircraft in 1962. An ANARE dog-sledge party led by I. Landon-Smith passed close to the feature on the way from the Amery Ice Shelf to Mawson in January, 1963. Named after K.G. Walker, assistant cook at Mawson in 1962, a member of the dog-sledge party.
