This name originates from Australia. It is part of the Australian Antarctic Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.

Narrative

A snow-covered nunatak in the Goodspeed Nunataks in the southern Prince Charles Mountains, Mac.Robertson Land, about 4 km east of Skinner Nunataks. First sighted by an ANARE seismic trverse party in 1957. Photographed by ANARE in 1958 and 1960.

Named For

Named after Martin S Betts, weather observer at Mawson in 1971 and a member of the ANARE Prince Charles Mountains survey party in 1972.
