A scattered group of low peaks and ridges covering an area of approximately 11 km by 6 km about 4 km south of Mount Banfield in the Hansen Mountains, Kemp Land. Plotted from ANARE air photographs. Named after V. Dwyer, radio officer-in-charge at Mawson in 1964, a member of one of the survey parties which carried out a tellurometer traverse passing through the Hansen Mountains in 1965.
