This name originates from Australia. It is part of the Australian Antarctic Gazetteer.
A precipitous cliff face which rises from Hoseason Beach on Heard Island and lies at the northern end of an exposed rock feature located between the Nares and Baudissin Glaciers and extending towards Big Ben. The cliff face exhibits limestone sedimentation. Named after Jock Forbes, carpenter with the 1952 ANARE, who died nearby on the Baudissin Glacier in 1952 following an accident on Hoseason Beach. He is buried on the island.
