Narrative

A peak in the western extension of the Athos Range, Prince Charles Mountains, about 2 km north-west of Mount Bensley and about 20 km south-west of Mount Starlight. Recorded on terrestrial photographs taken by R H Lacey, surveyor at Mawson in 1955, and aerial photography by ANARE in 1959 and 1965. Named after D.B. Carter, electronics technician at Mawson in 1965.
