This name originates from Australia. It is part of the Australian Antarctic Gazetteer.

Narrative

A peak on Heard Island, just west of Atlas Cove with an altitude of about 120m at its highest point on the north side. The name for the feature was proposed by Edgar Aubert de la Rue who did geological work on the island, 15-22 January 1929.
