Narrative

A submarine bank with a least depth of 102 m in the eastern part of the Davis Sea. Discovered by USN Operation Highjump (1946-47). Named after Dr. W.L. Tressler, oceanographer with the US Hydrographic Office and scientific leader at Wilkes station in 1958.
