An ice covered plateau about 24 km long and from 3.2 to 6.4 km wide, located on the eastern side of the Churchill Mountains between the lower parts of Forda and Flynn Glaciers. Its bluff-like eastern side is bounded by the Starshot Glacier. It was mapped from air photographs taken by the US Navy.
Named by US-ACAN after Cdr. George R. Kelly, USN commanding officer of USN Squadron VX-6 during Operation Deepfreeze 1964.
