Names that other countries have for this feature:
A mountain ridge about 11 km long extending north-south between the Byrd Glacier and the Hatherton Glacier. Named Dusky Mountains by the Darwin Glacier party of the Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1956-58) because of the almost complete lack of snow on the eastern faces and associated dry valleys. The generic ridge is considered more appropriate than mountains.
