Narrative

Rock exposures about 2 km west of Carapace Nunatak. Discovered by the NZARP Allan Hills Expedition (1964). Named after Lieut. Brandau, USN, helicopter pilot, who made a difficult rescue flight to evacuate an injured member of the expedition.
