A submerged offshore rock to the north of Black Rock and Morgan Island, Heard Island. The feature is shown as Sunken Rock on Hydrographic Chart AUS 08.
Named after the Tasmanian whaling Captain James William Robinson, of the Offley, who was in charge of the 1858-1860 Tasmanian whaling and sealing expedition.
