Narrative

A valley in the Miller Range, just south of Argosy Glacier. Plotted by the US Geological Survey from air photographs taken by the US Navy in 1960-62. Named after J.S. Ong, traverse engineer on the South Pole Traverse in 1962-63 and the Byrd Traverse in 1963-64.
