This name originates from Australia. It is part of the Australian Antarctic Gazetteer and the SCAR Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica.
A submarine bank about 55 km north of Wilhelm 11 Land. The bank was discovered in January 1937 by gunner Krog Anderson of the whale catcher Gribb of the Lars Christensen Expedition 1936-37.
