An enclosed cove on the northern side of Clark Peninsula about 4 km ENE of Wilkes station. The region was photographed by USN Operation Highjump (1946-47), ANARE (1956) and the Soviet Antarctic Expedition (1956). The feature was included in a ground survey by C.R. Eklund in 1957. Named by USACAN after Dr A. Stevenson, economic adviser to the US House of Representatives Committee on Interstate and Foreign Commerce and author of a report for the Committee on the IGY in the Arctic and Antarctic.
