Narrative

A glacier in the Ingrid Christensen Coast, just east of the Larsemann Hills. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photographs taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition (1936-37). Photographed by USN Operation Highjump (1946-47) and ANARE.

Named For

Named by Dr J H Roscoe, after his 1952 study of Op Highjump air photos, from a nearby island called Dalkxy by the Norwegian cartographers. Dr Roscoe was photogrammetrist with Op Highjump and USN Op Windmill (1947-48).
