Feature type: Headland
This name originates from Australia. It is part of the Australian Antarctic Gazetteer.
It has contorted rock strata which gives it the appearance of a gargoyle.A blunt headland, about 120 metres in height, facing Cauldron Bay, McDonald Islands. With the volcanic eruption On McDonald Island in 2003 the original feature disappeared so the name was recycled.
