A bay just south of Davis station in the Vestfold Hills. It is about 2 km long, 0.5 km wide at the entrance. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photographs taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition (1937-57). First visited by an ANARE party led by Phillip Law from the Kista Dan on 11 January, 1957.
Named after F. Heidemann, second mate of the MV Kista Dan in 1957.
